A corner card, not a theme store
A now-playing card is player-single placed in a corner, showing the current line beside artwork and a progress line. It is a placement of one existing layout, not a new overlay family.
StreamLyric ships 3 layouts. The card is a way to seat player-single, so it inherits the same font range, anchors, and tier limits as any other player-single placement.
Artwork and the progress bar are controls
The album artwork and the progress bar belong to the player-single presentation. You can keep both for a full card, or hide either one in Overlay settings for a leaner badge.
Because these are settings rather than a distinct product, turning them off does not switch layouts—it just changes how much the card shows.
How it differs from a lower third
A now-playing card lives in a corner and reads as a compact "what is playing" badge. A lower third spans the bottom edge and reads as a caption bar.
Use the card when you want a small, persistent badge that stays out of the action, and the lower third when you want the current line to run along the bottom.
Vertical corners still avoid comments
In a vertical scene the card usually sits top-right or bottom-right, away from the performer. Anchor it where it will not collide with the comment rail or gift animations.
Preview at the target size before going live; a corner that looks clear on desktop can overlap platform UI once the vertical frame is on a phone.
