Legal information

Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy explains how StreamLyric processes information when you use the StreamLyric browser extension and cloud service.

Information we process

We process your email address or Google account identity for sign-in, password hashes when you use email authentication, hashed session credentials, effect and display settings, subscription and entitlement status, extension version, playback synchronization anchors, and operational timestamps. We use this information to authenticate accounts, synchronize requested settings and playback state, provide Overlay features, manage subscriptions, prevent abuse, and operate and secure the service.

Information we do not intentionally store

The service is not intended to store a personal song history or the full text of lyrics as an account archive. Playback synchronization uses limited song identifiers and timing metadata needed to provide the requested Overlay experience. Network requests may contain technical information such as an IP address and user agent that is processed by infrastructure providers for security, rate limiting, and service delivery.

Service providers

Cloudflare provides edge compute, database, object storage, rate limiting, and bot verification infrastructure. Google provides account identity verification when you choose Google sign-in. PayPal processes subscription payments and sends payment status notifications. Our email delivery provider may process an email address to deliver account messages. These providers process information only as needed for their services and under their own applicable policies.

Your choices and data requests

You may sign out at any time and manage available settings from the extension or account pages. To request account deletion or ask about information associated with your account, contact support@streamlyric.com from the account email address. We retain account and transaction records only for as long as needed to provide the service, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, and meet legal or accounting obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymized where practical.

Overlay URL and playback state

An Overlay URL is a credential. Anyone who can read the full URL can request the current playback display. We do not put Overlay URLs in the sitemap, and you should not leave them in screenshots, VODs, or on camera. Playback state served to an Overlay is the current requested display, not a stored personal listening history.

Anonymous website analytics

Public SEO pages may send anonymous, first-party aggregate events for page views and selected button clicks. We do not use analytics cookies or persistent identifiers for these events, and we do not intentionally store IP addresses, account details, referrers, full URLs, or user agents. Aggregates are retained only as needed for product measurement and are not treated as unique visitor counts.
