Long lines can marquee on player-single. That is not extra context. player-multi is the layout that shows nearby lines.

Mark the performer, chat or comments, gifts, captions, and the largest expected alert. The lyric block goes in the leftover zone, not on top of those regions.
A phone-first scene often has only a narrow strip left. player-single is the default there. player-multi is for viewers who need the previous and next lines and still have height.
Preview the longest line at viewer size
Text that looks comfortable on an editing monitor can collide with comments after mobile scaling. Check contrast and marquee before going live.
Do not stretch one Overlay between landscape and vertical canvases to reuse a style. Build one Browser Source per orientation.
