Why this matters

The Overlay URL is not a public marketing page. It is access to the current song state, so anyone who has the live link can watch what your Overlay shows.

Every plan allows 1 active Overlay link, so there is no spare disposable URL. The one credential is the thing to protect.

Where it usually leaks

The common leaks are a screenshot of the OBS Browser Source properties, a VOD that pauses on that panel, and pasting the link into a public chat or support message.

Rendered lyrics on stream are fine. The risk is exposing the URL string itself, not showing the words to viewers.

If it may have leaked

Revoke the link on the account page and create a new one, then update the OBS Browser Source with the new URL. Changing font or layout does not close a leak.

Layout, anchors, and font live on the account Overlay and survive the revoke, so you only need to paste the new link into OBS.
