FREE TOOL

Place lyrics in the safe area, not on the UI.

Pick a canvas to see which regions to reserve first and where the lyric block should sit. This complements the size calculator: that one sizes the source, this one plans placement.

Reserve the busy regions first

On 1920×1080, reserve the camera, chat panel, alerts, and captions, then place lyrics in the lower third or beside the performer.

On 1080×1920, comments and gifts fill the lower screen, so lyrics move to an upper-middle band above the comment stream.

Placement, not sizing

This tool decides where the lyric block goes. The Browser Source size calculator decides how big the source is; use both together.

Do not stretch one Overlay between 16:9 and 9:16. Build a separate source per orientation so anchors stay honest.

Use the tool

1920×1080: reserve camera, chat, alerts, captions; lyrics in the lower third. 1080×1920: reserve comments and gifts; lyrics in an upper-middle band.

Frequently asked questions

Does this replace the size calculator?

No. This plans placement; the size calculator sizes the Browser Source. They complement each other.

Where do lyrics go on a vertical scene?

Above the comment stream, away from face, gifts, and platform controls.

Can I reuse one overlay for both ratios?

No. Build one source per orientation so anchors and font ranges stay correct.
