These defaults are the same values the interactive calculator uses. If JavaScript is blocked, copy a row straight into OBS.
Each row assumes the Browser Source equals the canvas. The lyric region is the canvas minus the margin on every side, so a larger margin means a smaller readable block.

Match the source to the canvas
The most common sizing mistake is stretching one Browser Source between 1920×1080 and 1080×1920. That moves the anchor and crops lyrics into platform UI. Recreate the source per orientation instead of scaling it.
Font sits in the 12–96px range across 9 anchors. Larger type on a narrow vertical canvas overflows first, so vertical presets start smaller than landscape.
Avoid covering
Camera, instrument, comments, gifts, alerts, captions, and platform controls should be reserved before placing lyrics. Mark those zones first, then drop the lyric region into what is left.
On phone-first scenes the lower third is usually gone to comments and gifts. That is why the vertical preset anchors higher than the landscape one.
The math stays local
This calculator never uploads a canvas size or an Overlay URL. It computes the recipe in the browser and forgets it on refresh.
Copy only the width, height, font, and anchor into OBS. The Overlay URL itself belongs in the Browser Source field, not in a screenshot of this tool.
