This checklist does not grant TikTok LIVE access and does not connect StreamLyric to TikTok APIs. StreamLyric is an independent Chrome extension used with OBS.
The lyric Overlay still comes from YouTube Music playback in Chrome. TikTok LIVE is only the publishing destination for the OBS program output.
Build the vertical scene in OBS
Set the canvas to 1080×1920 or another true 9:16 size, then match the Browser Source to it and keep the background transparent. Do not stretch a 1920×1080 source into vertical.
player-single is usually clearer on a phone-first canvas because comments and gifts eat the lower third and often the sides.
Keep lyrics out of platform UI
Reserve the face, instrument, comments, gifts, and platform controls first. Park the lyric block in what is left using one of the overlay anchors.
Preview at phone size before going live. A desktop OBS preview can hide collisions that a phone shows immediately.
Rights and the Overlay URL
Follow the music, lyric, and platform rights that apply to your stream. StreamLyric does not license the underlying songs.
Keep the Overlay URL hidden in OBS. This checklist stays on your device and never asks for the link.
