Line timing is not the same as word-level Karaoke
A synchronized source can move the current line as the song plays. That is enough for a multi-line Overlay to feel attached to playback.
Word-level Karaoke fill is a stricter dataset. Many timed tracks only have line timestamps. Do not expect a highlight sweep just because the line advanced.
Plain text stays readable and does not advance
Plain text gives words and line breaks without a dependable timeline. Pause, seek, and playback position cannot drive it honestly.
StreamLyric will not estimate fake timestamps to imitate Karaoke. Empty timing is shown as static text, not a guessed fill.
Karaoke needs word-level timing and a non-Free plan
Karaoke also has to be enabled in Overlay settings. Free access forces Karaoke off and flattens 3D rotation. Turning the control on in a screenshot does not override the Free tier.
If the track lacks word-level timing, Trial and Pro still cannot invent it. Use the karaoke compatibility tool to inspect the current source rather than forcing a sweep.
